A stampede in
the New Year party of Shanghai caused 36 deceased and 48 wounded.
There was 36
deads and about 48 became wounded in a human stampede during the New Year party
in Shanghai. All the people were celebrating the New Year in the Chen Yi
square, in front of the Huangpu river, when suddenly started to rain dollars
from a flat, half hour before the New Year. A lot of people started to run and
push the people, because they wanted to catch the money. Other people fell down.
This people became squished from the people who ran. Finally they discovered
that the money was false.
The most of the deceased were people between
16 - 36 years old. 5 of the 48 wounded people are in critical state.
The Chinese
president, Xi Jinping, has ordered to the police to do an investigation about
this stampede and discover what was the cause of this stampede and prevent this
type of accidents.
