THIS OUR FAREWELL!:(

This is our final post. The school subject where we made this blog has finished, so our blog finishes too. We are very happy, you have been the best fans we have ever had.
This is not  easy for us, to give up this blog, but we don't have time in our house to continue it, so we have to stop it.

We don't know what to say, this is difficult for us, but this is the end. Our jouney has separated, so we have to continued our journey, each one to his way.
Thank you very much for your time!!!.

The votes finished last monday. This are the results:

The final results and five inicial players will be anunced at 1 o'clock in the morning in TNT, a TV program in America.

THE PROBLEMS OF FCBARCELONA

FCBarcelona are the centre of attention for her controversy.

Fcbarcelona is one of the biggest clubs of Europe, but the club are not very good. In the start of the season, the president Sandro Rossell dismissed and Josep María Bartomeu the Sandro Rossell’s assistants step to be the president of the club.

While Sandro dismissed, the coach of the club Tata Martino gone to train in Argentina.

The Catalan club found coaches and meet the Celta’s coach and ex-player of FCBarcelona Luis Enrique Martínez.

“Lucho” and Bartomeu, sign very much people. Two goalkeepers (Marc-André Ter Stegen and Claudio Brabo), three defenders (Thomas Vermaelen, Douglas Pereira dos Santos and Jérémy Mathieu), two midfielders (Ivan Rakitic and Rafinha Alcantara) and one forward (Luis Suarez).

Luis Suarez was fined for the bite of the Mundial of Brasil.

The problems of the blue and scarlet people get worse with CAS.

CAS is the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and they order the problems of the FIFA and them stop sign players until 2016.

The boys of Can Barça are with the problems because the performances of the club are not very good.

Carles Puyol resignation the place of the club, and the club sack Andoni Zubizarreta from her post.

Ronaldo wins again.

He has won his third Ballon d'Or. Only one more and he will catch Messi.
It was an ordinary gala, like other years, with some anecdotes, but any surprise.

First I will check all winners of each award:

• FIFA Ballon d'Or: Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward from Real Madrid. Any surprise, but well deserved award.
• FIFA Women's World Player of the Year: Nadine Kessler, the German forward from Wolfsburg.
• Men's World Coach: Joachim Loew, the Germany national team coach.
• Women's World Coach: Ralf Kellermann, the Wolfsburg and Nadine Kessler's coach.
• Puskás Award: James Rodríguez, the Real Madrid player scored the best goal of the year with Colombia national team in the world Cup 2014.

The thing that everyone remember is the peculiar manner that Ronaldo celebrate the award. He finished his discourse with a high shout.

It was the piece of news about the FIFA Ballon d'Or 2014, but probably you are disagree with some awards. I'm also disagree with some awards, so shortly you will have a critique in the blog.

A catastrophic human stampede

A stampede in the New Year party of Shanghai caused 36 deceased and 48 wounded.

There was 36 deads and about 48 became wounded in a human stampede during the New Year party in Shanghai. All the people were celebrating the New Year in the Chen Yi square, in front of the Huangpu river, when suddenly started to rain dollars from a flat, half hour before the New Year. A lot of people started to run and push the people, because they wanted to catch the money. Other people fell down. This people became squished from the people who ran. Finally they discovered that the money was false.

The most of the deceased were people between 16 - 36 years old. 5 of the 48 wounded people are in critical state.

The Chinese president, Xi Jinping, has ordered to the police to do an investigation about this stampede and discover what was the cause of this stampede and prevent this type of accidents.

Merry Christmas!!!

Dear followers,

The next three weeks we aren't going to publsih any post, because we will be in holidays. Maybe we will publish something if we consider that it is importnant. 

As you know, we do this blog in school. Now will be Christmas, so we won't go to school. 

We will celebrate Christmas with our family, and we will have a great time. Someone will travel to another country to visit their family.

In Christmas day, on the 24th, we will have a big dinner with our family, and someone with their friends. Every one will be excited, especially the children, because the next morning they will open their presents, the presents that Santa Claus.

Here in Catalonia, where we live, we have an other tradition. On the 24th we do the "Caga Tió". It is a trunk, that you hit wiht a stick, an then it shit some presents for you. If you want to know more about "Caga Tió" click here.

We also have a tradition similar as Santa Claus, it is the "tres reis de l'orient".

Round of 16

Last Monday there was the round of 16 draw, in Nyon Switzerland. These are the matches:

• Bayern Leverkusen vs Atlético de Madrid: Atlético de Madrid the winer of Liga BBVA and last season and the first in group 1, has an attainable opponent: Bayern Leverkusen, the 2nd of Group 3.
• Juventus vs Borussia Dortmund: these will probably be the best matches of the round, because Borussia Dortmund (second in Bundesliga last season) and Juventus (first in Serie A) are two big candidates to win the Champions League.
• Arsenal vs Monaco: these can be two good matches. They aren't the best teams in the competition, but they have a similar level.
• Schalke 04 vs Real Madrid: this is the rematch for Schalke 04, Real Madrid eliminated it in this round ,with 2:9 in the Global result. Real Madrid has won all matches in Champions League.
• Basel vs Porto: Basel, the Switzerland team, has gated-crash between the 16 best teams of Europe, and will bring against the least difficult team.
• Manchester City vs FC Barcelona: two big teams who brought last year. Barça passed last year, but were a good matches.This year will be also a good matches.
• PSG vs Chelsea: they are two big teams, but Chelsea is probably better.
• Shakhtar Donetsk vs Bayern München: Bayern is one of the best teams, but Luiz Adriano, the Shakhtar forward is the the top goal-scorer, with nine goals.

Titi Henry

Thierry Daniel Henry "Titi" at the age of 37 years old he retirated of the football world. After 20 years in the football , he played with 5 teams and his national team. He played on AS Monaco (Ligue 1), Juventus (Serie A), Arsenal (Premier League), FCBarcelona (Liga BBVA) and the team on he retired New York Red Bulls (Major League Soccer). His national team is French National Team, and the player congratulates our clubs for the support of the clubs.

The french player, decided to return to his city, London and joining Sky Sports.

The King Henry is one of the stars of the fotball soccer and he was proud there.

Gingerbread man

Gingerbread man is a traditional biscuit made of gingerbread, usually in the shape of stylized human, although other shapes. The biscuits are especially seasonal themes: Hallowen, Christmas.....
The history of the biscuits came in the 15th century, but in the 16th Century, Elizabeth I of England cooked the biscuits of the shapes of a woman person, and she gave the biscuits to her important guests.
The people invented a funny story of the gingerbread man for children.

A stabbing near the Camp Nou

The police is investigating two stabbing near the Camp Nou, after the football match, were Barça played against Paris Sant-Germain.

The first stabbing took place at 23:00, near Camp Nou. Two men wearing black clothes and balacava stabed a man from the back. He was with other people when this happened. He was moved to thee hospital, with a bad wound. He is still there, but now he feels better, and the doctors said that he is out of danger.

A few minutes later there was another stabing in the Madrid avenue. This stabbing was similar to the first one. Three friends were going out of the stadium when some men with black clothes atacked them. One of the friends was wounded with a dagger. It wasn't very bad. Now he has already gone out of the hospital.

The police have interrogated some witness, but they are still investigating.

The FCBarcelona Christmas

The FCBarcelona Christmas is very popular. In the last years, FCBarcelona made a video with the Barça Toons, and this year, FCBarcelona players made a video with their section's players. The players are very happy playing with a games of FCBarcelona organised only for christmas.
Also FCBarcelona have the shitters. The shitter is the little sculptures of the first team of FCBarcelona football players that the players are defecating. In this year I don't know the Barça's shitter and this is the shitter of the FCBarcelona 2013.

THE THREE FINALISTS

On 1st December FIFA announced the three finalists to win the Ballon d'Or 2014.
There weren't any surprise Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward from Real Madrid, is the favourite. He's already won this distinction in two occasions: in 2008 and the last year. He won the Champions League and the Copa del Rey scoring a lot of goals. He scored 31 goals in his league (Liga BBVA), like Luis Suárez in Barclays Premier League; both are the are the high scoring players in an European league. He didn't do an important paper in the World Cup 2014, but he scored one goal. He has started this season in a good luck.

Lionel Messi, the Argentinian forward from FC Barcelona is an expert at wining the Ballon d'Or: he won if from 2009 to 2012. Barça didn't won any tittle last year and Messi didn't plat as good as the previous years, but Barça fight to won the league until the last match, and Messi play two finals: the Copa del Rey (with FC Barcelona) and the World Cup 2014 final (with Argentina national team).  Messi didn't won the World Cup Final, but with his four goals was chosen the best player of the World Cup.

Manuel Neuer, the German goalkeeper from Bayen München is considerate the best goalkeeper in the world. He was chosen the best goalkeeper of the World Cup, after wining the tittle with Germany national team. He was the least scored goalkeeper in Bundesliga.



The FIFA Women's World Player of the Year nominees are:

Nadine Kessler, the German midfielder was chosen the best player in Europe after wining the Champions League and the Bundesliga with Wolfsburgo, her team.

Marta Vieira da Silva, the Brazilian forward from Tyresö FF has already won 5 FIFAWorld Player of the Year: from 2006 to 2010.

Abby Wambach, the American forward from Western New York Flash won the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2012.

AN EXTREMISTS FIGHT SHAKES FOOTBALL WORLD

The death of an extremist fan of Deportivo in a fight against extremists fans of Atlético de Madrid shakes the sport world.

On 30th November an extremist fan of Deportivo died in the Hospital after be rescued in the Manzanón river.

More than a hundred of extremist fans of Deportivo and Atlético de Mardid met to fight with sticks, bottles and bats before the match between this two teams in Madrid, near the Vicente Calderón. There were a lot of injured extremists.

FIFA can't cancel the match.

Unfortunately it isn't the only fight related with football. There are a lot of this fights in football field especially in Africa and south America.

THE RETURN

Last friday Russell Westbrook returned to his team after one month with his right hand broken.

He played against New York Knicks and he did an amazimg match, he scored 32 points, 7 rebound and 8 assistances.

Last night Kevin Durant returned. He was hurt too. He had a problem with his right foot. He played yesterday against New Orleans Pelicans, but Anthony Davis did a fabolous match, and thunder lost(Pelicans 112- Thunder 104). Durant did a great match too, but Anthony did it better.

Cyber Monday

Cyber Monday is a marketing for the Monday after Thanksgiving day and Black Friday.
In Ciber Monday the online shop's reduce their prices.
The term "Cyber Monday" was created by the marketing companies to persuade people to shop online. The term debut on 28th of November 2005 in a shop.org and  now is a term for the 1st Monday of November.

BALLON D'OR 2014

Next Monday FIFA will notify the three finalist to win the Ballon d'or 2014. There are 23 contenders to win this distinction, but 20 will be eliminated. 

There are six Real Madrid contenders (Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo, Kroos, Ramos and James) and six Bayern München players (Götze, Lahm, Müller, Neuer, Robben and Schweinsteiger), Barça has four players (Iniesta, Mascherano, Messi and Neymar), Chelsea has three players (Costa, Courtois and Hazard) and there are one player from Manchester United (di María), PSG (Ibrahimovic), Juventus (Pogba) and Manchester City (Touré).

Black Friday

The Black Friday is the next day of Thanksgiving Day. 

The american people, after the Thanksgiving Day, start thinking about Christmas. So the next day of the Thanksgiving Day, they go to buy all the presents for Christmas. That day was a great day for the sellers, because they sell a lot of things.This was the original history about Black Friday.

But now this day is the sales day, so this day all people go to buy presents for Christmas.

This day is called Black Friday because the sellers write they profits in black, and in this day they have a lot of profits.

Messi beats Raúl's record

Last tuesday, Leo Messi beat the record of Raúl in the UEFA Champions League.
Raúl the best goal scorer in the Champions  goalpost 70 goals, and Leo MEssi Tuesday at the match against Apoel beat the record and scored 3 goals. MEssi is the best goal scorer in the Champions with 74 goals.

Messi beats Zarra's record

Last saturday, Lionel Andrés Messi beat the record of Telmo Zarra, the best goal scorer of the LFP.

Leo Messi at the match against Sevilla beat the record of 251 goals of the Telmo Zarra.

Now, Messi is the best goal scorer of the LFP with 253 goals.

 

Our opinion

We write this blog in class, in a subjuect called lets blog.

We really like this subject because its very funny to write in a blog. We also like it cause the teacher let us to created a blog about what we want. 

It isn't easy for us to write in English because we are from Catalonia, but we are learning English and we think that this subject will improve our English a lot. 

We also like this subject because we can talk about what we want. And it is interesting because you learn a lot about what you want, in our case basketball and football.

Thanksgiving Day

Tomorrow will be a special day. It will be the Thanksgiving Day.

We will have a big dinner with our family and we will have a great time. We will sit a round the table with a very big turkey in the middle and we will express our gratitude for all that we have, because there are other persnons who can't celebrate that day because they don't have as lucky as us, maybe they don't have a united family or they are poor, so we have to be gratitude for all we have.

About his origen:

The Thanksgiving Day have his origen in America. The first Thanksgiving Day was celebrate in 1620, when the immigrants from Ingland arrived in America. In Plymotuh the native indians were waitting them. When they arrived, the indians shared them they knowledge and give them some food. The immigrants organized a big dinner to show them they gratitude.

Now every year in the fourth thursday in september, we celebrate that day and we express our gratitude for all we have.

Bulls won an other match in Toronto

The two titanes in the west conference this morning played a match. They were Raptors and Chicago Bulls. The match took place in Toronto.

They played a very competitive match but finaly the bulls won the mutch (93-100). 

Pau Gasol played very well, he did point exhibition. He did 27 point, his personal record with the bulls.

First, Raptors were winning, but in the second quarter when Dunleavy scored,a triple the Bulls passed the Raptors in the scoreboard. Now this two teams are in tables in the league.

During the match Derek Rose had a little accident and he broke his right foot tendon. Nobody knows if the recovery will take much time.

David Moyes comes to Donostia to save Real Sociedad

After wining only one match and draw three, in the tenth  round Real Sociedad dismissed Jagoba Arrasate.

David Moyes, the previous Manchester United's coach comes after the victory against Atlético de Madrid (2-1) in Anoeta. This victory gives to Real a break during the national team.

Real Sociedad introduced Moyes yesterday. He met the players and visited facilities.

He is motivated to ascend.

Real Madrid (Group 2), Borussia Dormund (Group 4) and Bayern München (Group 5) are the best teams in the Champions League: they have won all the matches and they have 12 points.They are qualified for the next round.

PSG and  Barça (both in Group 6) and Porto (Group 8) are qualified for the next round.

Guy Fawkes

Guy Fawkes was a catholic conspirator. He served  the Spanish armed forces. He belonged to a catholic restauration, who planned a Gunpowder plot. They objective was to demolish the English parliament and kill the king James I of Ingland, because they wanted the princess to rule England. That demolishion would succes on the 5th November 1605.
One Guy's friend thought that he had to advice his friends because they could die. So he did letter and he sent it to his friends. The king saw this letter, so when Guy Fawkes was getting ready to demolish the parliament the king caught him. Before he confessed he was tortured.

Since that day every body does a bonfire to celebrate the Guy's plot fail.

Madrid vs Barça

Tomorrow Madrid and Barça are going to play in Bernabeu.

The Debate:

Ion: "I want Barça victory, but I think Madrid will win.

Madrid fordward are very fast and Madrid can hurt Barça in counter-attack."

Marc: "I want Barça victory. Madrid is a very good team but Barça is better than Madrid. 

Barça goal is very good because anithing has scored it."

Ion: "That's true Barça is better, but Madrid is more dangerous. Bravo is a good goalkeeper, but he won't finish the match without letting in a goal."

Marc: The Madrid fordward is good but the Barça back line is prepared to stop the Madrid players.

I think Luis Enrique  have to take Luis Suárez titular, because is a excellent center-forward and he will score 1 or 2 goals."

Ion: "Luis Suárez is the best center-forward in the world, but he shouldn't play. Munir should play because he's very young and he will play very motivated".

Marc: Oh no! Munir shouldn't play the classic because is very young and inexperienced. My Barça lineup:

Bravo, Alves, Piqué, Mathieu, Alba, Masherano, Rakitic, Iniesta, Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar Jr."

Chineses played a sport like football 2000 years ago.
In century XV-XVI in Britain people played diferent versions of futbol and in century XVII they fusioned and became Rugby, American football, Australian football and football soccer.
During the next centuries footballl soccer evolved. The firts official football match was in 30th November 1872 in Partick, Scotland.

The FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) appeared in 1904

After that appeared the most important leagues in Europe:
-Serie A (Italy) in 1898 (previous than FIFA)
-Liga BBVA (Spain) in 1929

The history of the NBA

Dear Aniol,

here you have some information about the NBA history and some players. 

The NBA was created in 1946 (called BAA until 1949). Also there was another professional basketball league called NBL. The fusion of this two leagues created the NBA.

The first match was beetwen New York Knicks and Toronto Huskies, and the first champion in the league was Philadelphia Warriors.

Chuck Cooper was the first black player selected in the NBA draft , that was in 1955.

In 1968 was born the ABA, it objective was to substitue the NBA league, but the NBA was better so ABA desapeared in 1976. 

The golden age ofthe NBA was in 1980, when Magic Johnson was in the Los Angeles Lakers, and Larry Bird in the Boston Celtics. Celtics vs Lakers was the derby of the NBA finals. 

After Magic Johnson and Larry Bird appeared Michael Jordan, he was considerated the best NBA player in the history.

Now there are others great players in the NBA, like Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony and Dereck rose.

Jules Bianchi

This blog is about football soccer and basketball, but we are going to do and exception because we think we must give a support message to Jules Bianchi, an Formula 1 pilot that the last Sunday had a horrible accident.

Now, Bianchi is in a hospitan in Japan. His health state is critical but he's stable. He has a diffuse axonal injury.

We hope you get better and we give suuport to his family.
